The company was founded in 2002 as 3nity-face Media, with its area of core focus as Website Development. In 2004, it expanded its activity profile to include developing software that run within it's core area of business - the internet. This expansion also led to a re-definition and re-branding process that gave birth to the its new identity as Softiris Technologies.

Through all the years of intensive work Softiris developed a unique set of tools for portals, website and domain management called the FRiTS Control Center. Also among the company's products are internet reservations and management systems of airlines and coach/bus service companies called Elixir. The company offers it as a hosted service to airlines and bus service companies.

The company is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
